The named people who check and publish the PlayExpert register: what each is qualified on, what they have actually published, and how to reach them.

The register, in numbers

Counted from the database when you loaded this page, not typed into it. They are smaller than the figures on comparable sites because nobody here can round them up.

What that means in practice

Every page here is written and checked by a named person, and every figure on it carries the date it was confirmed. If something on this site is wrong, one of these people is answerable for it — which is the only thing that makes the word "expert" mean anything on a page like this.

What we mean by expert

Nobody on this page is described as an expert because of a job title. Each one is credited on specific pages, and where they have scored a casino their name is on the score and the date it was made. The counts above are joins, not claims: they go up when the work is done and cannot be typed up by the person they flatter.

Nobody here claims to have played

The checks behind every entry are documentary — a regulator's published register, an operator's own published terms. Those are the checks a reader can go and repeat, which is the whole point of publishing a method at all. An account of somebody's evening at a casino cannot be verified by anyone, and a team page built on it is asking for trust rather than earning it.

What these people actually do

The checks behind every entry, in the order they happen. The full method — including how a casino is scored and what each criterion is worth — is on how we verify.

  1. We record each casino’s licence and who issued it

The licence and the body that issued it — a provincial regulator, or an offshore body such as Curaçao or Kahnawake — checked against that body’s own record, not the badge in the footer.

  2. We check whether it is actually open, not just registered

Holding a registration and taking players are different things, and the register says which one an operator is doing.

  3. We read the terms, not the banner

Wagering multipliers, what they apply to, minimum deposits and withdrawal windows come from the operator’s published terms.

  4. Every fact carries the date we checked it

A verified fact with no date is a fact that was true at some unknown point in the past.

What you will not find above is anybody claiming to have played. The checks here are documentary — a regulator’s register, an operator’s published terms — because those are the ones a reader can repeat. A deposit made once by one person on one day is an anecdote, and it is not what this team is for.

How to reach us

Every profile carries the ways that person can be contacted. Corrections are welcome from anyone, including the operators we write about — but a correction is made from the regulator's record or the operator's published terms, not from an email asserting it.
