Where you can play online in Canada
Online gambling in Canada is regulated province by province, not nationally. In most of the country the only sanctioned site belongs to the provincial lottery corporation; only a couple of provinces license private operators at all. Here is where each one stands.
Private operators are licensed in Ontario and Alberta. Everywhere else, the lottery corporation's site is the only sanctioned option.

Ontario
OpenOntario runs Canada's only long-established competitive market. A private operator has to be registered with the AGCO and hold an agreement with iGaming Ontario before it can take players; OLG's own site is legal alongside them.

Licensed from Canada, but not by a province
Not part of the thirteen above. A licence issued here is real, and it is not a provincial registration — it does not make a site legal to offer anywhere in Canada.
Kahnawake
Licenses operatorsFirst Nations territory · not a province
Kahnawake is a Mohawk territory inside Quebec, not a province, and it has licensed online gambling operators since 1999. A Kahnawake licence is not a provincial registration: it does not make a site legal to offer in Ontario, Alberta, or any other province, and sites holding one do not appear in our register.
